Biography: Shihua Li received his bachelor, master, Ph.D. degrees all in Automatic Control from Southeast University, Nanjing, China in 1995, 1998 and 2001, respectively. Since 2001, he has been with School of Automation, Southeast University, where he is Chief Professor, Jiangsu Specially Appointed Professor. He is also the Director General of Jiangsu Association of Automation. He is the chairman of IEEE IES Nanjing Chapter, Fellow of IEEE and IET.
His main research interests include modeling and nonlinear control theory (nonsmooth control, disturbance rejection control, intelligent control, etc.) with applications to mechatronic systems, including motion control, automobile engine control, manipulator, robot, power electronic systems, etc.
He has published 3 monographs, over 400 international journal and conference papers with 26000+ citations (Google Scholar). He is one of Clarivate Analytics (originally Thomson Reuters) Highly Cited Researchers (Engineering) all over the world in 2017-2022, one of the Most Cited Chinese Researchers from Elsevier (Control and system engineering), 2015-2022. He is a winner of the 6th Nagamori Award from Nagamori Foundation in 2020.

Biography: Prof. Mei Shunqi, male, born in March 1966, is a teacher of Wuhan Textile University, a Professor of National Second Class, a fellow of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and a Ph.D. supervisor of Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Wuhan University of Technology, Altai State Technical University in Russia, and Deakin University in Australia. he received his Ph.D. degree in Russia in 1995 and was a visiting scholar of University of Michigan in 2008. He was the Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation (Head of Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering) and Secretary of Party Committee of Wuhan Textile University. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers ASME, a senior member of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, a director of China Spinning Machine Association, a member of the Standing Committee of the Intelligent Manufacturing Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Artificial Intelligence, a member of the Steering Committee for Teaching Machinery of the Chinese Mechanical Industry Education Association; an executive director of the Mechanical Engineering Society of Hubei Province, vice chairman of the Special Committee for Mechanical Design and Transmission; an expert in national science and technology awards, National Natural Science Foundation and other projects He is also a member of the reviewer or editorial board of Textile R. J., China Mechanical Engineering, Textile Journal and other authoritative journals. He has been honored as an expert of the government allowance of the State Council, an innovative person of the year in China's textile industry, a model worker (advanced worker) in Hubei Province, a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contribution in Hubei Province, an excellent postgraduate tutor in Hubei Province, and a "good teacher of Jingchu" in Hubei Province.
Prof. Fakhri Karray (Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering & IEEE)

Biography: Fakhri is the Loblaws Research Chair Professor in Artificial Intelligence in the department of electrical and computer engineering and is the founding co-director of the Waterloo AI Institute. He is the co-author of a textbook on applied artificial intelligence: Soft Computing and Intelligent Systems Design, Addison Wesley Publishing, 2004. He has authored extensively in the general field of pattern analysis and machine intelligence and has been issued 20 patents (US registered). He is the Associate Editor (AE) of the IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, the IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning, and served as AE for the IEEE Transactions on Mechatronics, the IEEE Computational Intelligence Magazine. He also serves on the editorial board of the Elsevier Journal of Information Fusion, International Journal of Robotics and Automation, the Journal of Control and Intelligent Systems, and the Journal of Advances in Artificial Intelligence. Recent work of Fakhri and his research team on deep learning-based driver behaviour recognition and prediction has been featured on The Washington Post, Wired Magazine, Globe and Mail, CBC radio and Canada's Discovery Channel. He is the co-founder and Chief Scientist of Yourika.ai. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Engineering, a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada and the President of the Association for Image and Machine Intelligence. He served as a Distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE and is a Fellow of the Kavli Frontiers of Science (a major research and symposium program of the US National Academy of Sciences).
