In recent years, he has been engaged in research work on advanced nontraditional machining technology, theory and engineering application, including high-efficient arc discharge machining, electrical discharge machining, electrochemical additive and subtractive material manufacturing, hybrid machining, etc. As the first and corresponding author, he has published 15 papers in the Journal of Materials Processing Technology, Journal of Manufacturing Processes, Materials and Manufacturing Processes, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology in the field of manufacturing, including 13 papers included in SCI. He has been granted 5 national invention patents and 2 software copyrights. He has presided over a number of national, provincial and ministerial projects, such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Fund, the Special Support of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the General Support of the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the Natural Science Foundation of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Youth Fund, and the Tianchi Doctor Program of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.
近年来一直从事先进特种加工技术、理论及工程应用方面的研究工作。以第一及通讯作者身份在Journal of Materials Processing Technology, Journal of Manufacturing Processes, Materials and Manufacturing Processes, International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology等机械制造领域国内外权威期刊发表论文15篇，其中SCI收录论文13篇，授权国家发明专利5项，软件著作权2项。主持国家自然科学基金青年基金、中国博士后科学基金特别资助、中国博士后科学基金面上资助、新疆维吾尔自治区自然科学基金青年基金、新疆维吾尔自治区天池博士计划等多项国家及省部级课题。
