Professor Yuan obtained her Eng. D from Harbin Institute of Technology and continued her postdoctoral research at Tsinghua University. She has been a visiting scholar in the United States, Germany, Canada, France, Singapore, and other countries. She is now a full professor in the school of mechanical engineering and automation at Beihang University. During her teaching at Beihang University, she was awarded the "New Star in Scientific Research", "Teaching Excellence Award", etc. She also served as an expert on the independent assessment group of the "Chang'e 3" project, a vice chairman of the Academic Committee on Environmental Protection and Green Manufacturing, and an editorial board member of journals such as "Diamond & Abrasives Engineering", "Journal of Vibration, Measurement and Diagnosis".
Professor Yuan has presided over more than 30 projects, such as the key project of the Joint Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Science and the Technology Major Project of "high-end CNC machine tools and basic manufacturing equipment", etc. She also participated in the National Key Research and Development Program of China and the National Science and Technology Major Project on "aero engines and gas turbines", etc. She has published more than 100 research papers, authorized more than 40 patents, and published 5 monographs as co-author. She has won the First Prize of Science and Technology Progress from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Special Prize of Science and Technology of China Machinery Industry, and the Gold Award of the National Invention Exhibition.
Professor Yuan now mainly focuses on the research of green and high-performance processing technology and equipment, biomedical engineering, and intelligent actuators.
袁松梅，女，工学博士，教授，博士生导师，基础加强计划重点项目首席科学家，北京市“高效绿色数控加工工艺及装备”工程技术研究中心主任。 哈尔滨工业大学本硕博、清华大学博士后，先后在美国、德国、加拿大、法国、新加坡等多个国家做访问学者。曾获北航“蓝天科研新星”、“我爱我师——评选我心中最爱戴的老师”活动“优秀教师奖”等。担任“嫦娥3号”独立评估专家组专家、环境保护与绿色制造分会副主任委员、《金刚石与磨料模具工程》《振动、测试与诊断》等期刊编委。近年来作为项目负责人主持国家自然科学基金航天先进制造联合基金重点项目、“高档数控机床与基础制造装备”国家科技重大专项项目等30余项，作为课题负责人承担国家重点研发计划、两机专项等项目。累计发表论文100 余篇，已授权发明专利40余项，合著专著5部。获得工信部科技进步一等奖（专用）1项（排名第1）、中国机械工业科学技术特等奖1项（排名第4）、全国发明展览会金奖1项（排名第1）。
