The main research interests include digital design and manufacturing, robot perception and operation, etc. Presided over and completed the National Natural Science Foundation project "Deviation Control and Sharp Feature Construction of Point Set Surfaces", participated in the major science and technology special project of Fujian Province "Research and Application of Automatic Production Demonstration Line of Melamine Tableware", and the National Natural Science Foundation project "Digital Manufacturing Theory and Key Technology in Network Environment", the key project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Digital Design, Machining and Measurement Integration Theory and Technology of Large Complex Curved Parts", etc. Completed several enterprise projects, such as the reverse engineering system for rapid measurement, rapid modeling and rapid design of electrical products, the reverse mapping of 468QE cylinder head combustion chamber and intake and exhaust ports, JAC HFC4DB2 engine, AT gearbox, 1.3L diesel engine technical services, etc. Published several papers in high-level journals at home and abroad, such as Science Robotics, Computer Aided Design, ASME Journal, Chinese Journal of Science and Mechanical Engineering, and so on. Won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award in 2004 (ranking third), and the New Century Talent Support Program of Fujian Provincial Colleges and Universities in 2014.

主要研究兴趣包括数字化设计与制造、机器人感知与操作等。主持完成了国家自然科学基金项目“点集曲面的偏差控制及尖锐特征构造”,参加了福建省科技重大专项项目“密胺餐具盘自动化生产示范线研究与应用”,国家自然科学基金项目“网络环境下的数字制造理论与关键技术”,国家自然科学基金重点项目“大型复杂曲面零件的数字化设计-加工-测量一体化理论与技术”等。完成了多个企业项目,如电器产品快速测量、快速建模与快速设计的逆向工程系统,468QE气缸盖燃烧室及进排气道反求测绘,江淮HFC4DB2型发动机、AT变速箱、1.3L柴油发动机技术服务等。在Science Robotics、Computer-Aided Design、ASME Journal、中国科学、机械工程学报等国内外高水平刊物上发表论文多篇,获得2004年国家科技进步二等奖(排名第三)、2014年福建省高等学校新世纪优秀人才支持计划等。
