Bing Wang, is a professor in Mechanical Engineering, Dean Assistant, and Deputy Director of the Fujian Provincial Key Laboratory of Terahertz Functional Devices and Intelligent Sensing, from School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University. His PhD is from University of Hull, and PostDoc from University of Cambridge. He is a Life Member of Clare Hall Cambridge, committee member for Advanced Structural Materials, Premium Members for both Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society and Chinese Society for Composite Materials. Bing serves as Topic Editor and Guest Editor for Materials, organising a Special Issue on “Advances in Smart Materials and Structures”, a Guest Editor for Advances in Mechanical Engineering, Youth Editor for Journal of Fuzhou University, and a recognised peer-reviewer for more than twenty international journals, including Advanced Materials, Carbon, Composites Part B, NDT & E International, etc., and an outstanding reviewer for Archives of Civil and Mechanical Engineering. His main research focuses on smart materials and structures, composite mechanics, non-destructive testing & evaluation, as well as deployable mechanics.
