Wei Jiang was born in 1979 and received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mechanical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2002 and 2008, respectively. After finishing his post-doctoral research in Mechanics in HUST, he was employed by the State Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacturing Equipment and Technology in 2012. And then, he was appointed the associate professor, full professor in 2015 and 2021, respectively. He is the member of IEEE, the committee member of the first committee of extreme manufacturing branch of the Chinese Society of Mechanical Engineering. 

His major research area is mechanical system dynamics and vibration isolation. He is principal investigator for projects sponsored by NSFC, the National Key R&D Program of China, the National Science and Technology Major Project of China, etc. He has published more than 30 SCI/EI research papers and one book chapter, and is authorized 33 invention patents (including 2 US patents). He was awarded the second prize of national technological innovation Award (No.4, 2019), the Second prize of National Scientific and Technological Progress Award (No.5, 2016), and other 3 items of Province level award.

姜伟教授1979年生，华中科技大学机械工程博士、力学博士后，现为华中科技大学数字制造装备与技术国家重点实验室教授，IEEE会员，中国机械工程学会极端制造分会第一届委员会委员。主要从事机械动力学与减振等研究，先后主持国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划课题、国家科技重大专项课题等国家级项目。发表SCI/EI论文30余篇、专著章节1篇，获授权发明专利33项（含美国发明2项），获国家技术发明二等奖（排第4，2019年）、国家科技进步二等奖（排第5，2016年）、省部级一等奖3项。
