Prof.Xiaolong Lu,Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, State Key Laboratory of Mechanics and Control of Mechanical Structures,China

Xiaolong Lu has been an Associate Professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics
(P. R. China) since 2016. He specializes in the fabrication and characterization of nanoscale machines, as well as their applications in medical science and actuators. He received his Master’s degree in Mechatronics from Southeast University (P. R. China) in 2009 and his Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Design and Theory from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 2014. During his Ph.D. research, he developed piezoelectric actuators that functioned in harsh environments. From 2016–17, he worked as a Visiting Scholar in Professor Joseph Wang’s group at the Center of Nanomotors and Wearable Sensors, University of California, San Diego, to develop acoustically powered nanomachines. To date, Professor Lu has published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers
