My research focus lies in using advanced optical methods to capture the characteristics of reactive or non-reactive flows, such as combustion process in IC engines, fuel atomization, fundamental and practical flows and flames. The use of such technology can assist improving the current performance of practical reactors and combustors with more details in depth. My interests also include algorithms and image processing techniques and their application in automotive related research. Till this day I have published more than 30 SCI indexed journal articles, serves as the primary investigator for many projects, and is one of the recipient of Award from Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program.
